Once upon a time
The Ruby Plum story began with my childhood love of red coats, silver shoes and party dresses and tutus made by my mum who was quite
a glamour puss in her heyday (see left). Fast forward quite a few years, several careers, several children... my love of beautiful fashion stayed with me, inspiring me to create my boutique.

What's special about Ruby Plum?
My mission is to design and source things with a dash of vintage-inspired glamour, that are really flattering and a bit special and different. Putting the fun back into getting dressed, blowing a raspberry at the "rules", while still being quite grown up.

Everything I sell is made with “heart” – be it vintage, ethically handmade overseas or ideally (fewer airmiles) artisan-made in the UK. I'm a member of the Ethical Fashion Forum. My own limited edition designs are made by seamstresses in rural Wales. Lots of recycling goes on here!
